“Design is directed toward human beings. To design is to solve human problems by identifying them and executing the best solution.” – Ivan Chermayeff, Principal, Chermayeff & Geismar
Requirements Analysis
Website strategy starts by defining the design problem. Through research, evaluation, and collaborative work between our team and business stakeholders, we draft a requirements analysis. This includes:
- Site Objectives – what the site must do for the people who build the site?
- User Research – what the site must do for the people who use the site?
- Content Requirements – what information will users need or want from the site?
- Functional Specifications – what application features will users need to fulfill their goals?
Conceptual Design
Once the strategy and scope has been clearly defined, we begin the conceptual design and build the structure of the site.
- Information Architecture – how the users move from one content element to the next?
- Interaction Design – how the users move from one step in the process to the next?
